| Reiner Heard has been Vice-President of FIT (Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs / International Federation of Translators), “The voice of associations of translators, interpreters and terminologists around the world”, since 2014.
He headed a translation department in the German energy industry for 22 years. Before that he served with the German Foreign Office for a period of 14 years, after working for a translation agency for 2 ½ years. He is also president of the German Professional Translators and Interpreters Association ATICOM. |
